Originally from Las Vegas, Suzie started dancing at the age of 3. After seeing a production of Gypsy as a kid, she knew that’s what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. She was accepted to the Las Vegas Academy of Performing and Visual Arts as a Theatre and Dance Major and spent high school doing as many productions as she could. Colorado was the next stop where she attended the University of Northern Colorado and received a BA in Musical Theatre.

 

As a performer, Suzie has worked in NYC and across the country.  She originated the role of Baby Jaguar on the first National Tour of Go, Diego, Go Live!.  Other favorites include national tours of Sesame Workshop’s Dragon Tales Live! and Nickelodeon’s Dora the Explorer Live!

 

Suzie also found a passion for sharing the art of theatre and can often be found creating work as a director and choreographer.  She especially loves to share her talents with kids.  She is a Teaching Artist with Disney Theatrical Group and KJK Productions where she has worked on over 50 shows with young performers. During the pandemic she co-founded You Do You Theatre Co. which gave kids a place to express themselves online using theatre, dance and music. Suzie is also the resident Director/Choreographer/Performer for Oasis USA Marketing, working with national brands including Peppa Pig, Thomas the Tank Engine and Barbie. She has worked with esteemed Director and Puppeteer, Pam Arciero, on Sesame Street Pop Up Shows and Beaches Resort Shows.

 

When not performing or directing, Suzie loves everything pop culture and is a major Jeopardy fan. She even won the pilot episode of Complex Network's new pop culture game show Top Gen. Snatch her up for your trivia team! She loves perfecting her cooking techniques and pairing it with a nice glass of wine. 

 

Suzie spends her summers in the pines as the Drama/Activities Director at Camp Skylemar, an all boys camp in Naples, Maine. 

 

Her mission is to inspire the next generation of musical theatre lovers and performers alike.
